The pandemic forced us to realize that something had to change with the way we ran performing arts space. If the Toronto arts community were to continue in a sustainable way, artists needed to unite.

That’s why we came up with a co-op style membership that helps artists stay inspired!

How it works is simple: When you commit to one rush booking hour, per month, you also receive our lowest hourly rates, creative career coaching and much more. These hours roll over to the next month if you don’t use them so you can accumulate hours in the space and use them whenever you’re ready.

The more artists that contribute a little bit every month, the more sustainable we become.

Membership Perks Explained:

• ONE FREE RUSH BOOKING HOUR PER MONTH

  During your monthly membership, you’ll get access to ONE FREE RUSH BOOKING HOUR, per month, valued at $18.00, plus HST. *monthly rush bookings can be accumulated or transferred to a different month until you cancel your membership. Once you cancel your membership, all accumulated hours will be forfeit.

• OUR LOWEST HOURLY AND DAILY RATES

  You’ll be able to book The Attic Studio and Theatre space at our lowest hourly Rates. That means up to 37% OFF for Rehearsals, Auditions, Classes, Meetings and Workshops. Member Rates start at $25.00/hour.
  Book the Attic Studio for performances starting at just $220.00/performance and hire our technical and front of house staff for as little as $25.00/hour (4 hour minimum). View our hourly rates HERE.

• RUSH BOOKINGS:

  Only members can book rush bookings at The Attic Studio and Theatre at our lowest rate of $18.00/hour. (Rush Bookings are time in the space booked 48 hours in advance, or less. Learn more about rush bookings HERE.)

  Only members can book and confirm the space instantly, 24/7, before the spot is gone! Non-Members must email us to book.

2) Creating a “Safer Space” has never been a bigger priority for Space Space Revolution and for the community at large. Previously, there was little way for us to hold people accountable for their actions. Membership allows us to take back some control over who is permitted to use the space so that the space can be kept welcoming, neat and tidy!

3) Membership allows us to expand: when we approach landlords about new locations, their first question is about who will be using the space. They worry about who will be coming and going. With a membership, we have the ability to streamline this process and create more attractive offers to landlords, which, in turn, keeps our costs low and your prices low.

The Attic Studio is VERY old and VERY charming. To keep prices low, the space is maintained by the community who use it, cleaned once per week and monitored remotely through security cameras. We also have a turtle! It is one of the coolest places in Toronto but it also has its quirks and it’s rough edges.

We encourage you to book a free VIEWING before you book the space and to involve as much of your team as possible in the viewing.

Viewings can be booked in the mornings, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM in 15 minute increments.
