The Attic Studio and Theatre is a artist-run rental space and creative hub offering affordable artist-pricing. This unique theatre rental space can be used for rehearsal space, photography studio, casting studio, theatre rental, film studio space.
This unique Leslieville space from the 1800’s has been everything from a church to a hair salon. (If these walls could talk!) Now, it’s the perfect rentable Toronto space for your creation. The Attic can be used for auditions, classes, film-shoots, rehearsals, workshops, meetings, photo-shoots, events and more. Hire one of our skilled technicians to turn on the theatrical lighting and it’s a unique performance space that your audience will love. How much does renting our theatre cost? Pricing is kept as low as $25/hour for members. Rush bookings are also available to members for as low as $18.00/hour. Check out the full price list HERE.

Not sure if the space is right for you?

The Attic Studio and Theatre is VERY old and VERY charming. To keep prices low, the space is maintained by the community who use it, cleaned once per week and monitored remotely through security cameras. It is one of the coolest places in Toronto but it also has its quirks and it’s rough edges.

We do not offer refunds so we encourage you to book a free VIEWING before you book the space and to involve as much of your team as possible in the viewing.

Viewings can be booked in the mornings, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM in 15 minute increments.
