ATTN: The Attic Closure
Hello Space Space Revolution community,
It’s Vikki Velenosi with some tough news: The Attic Studio and Theatre has officially closed its doors, as of Nov 26th, 2024.
This decision was unexpected, as we faced unforeseen challenges, despite our best efforts to keep the space running. It’s heartbreaking to end this chapter after 15 years of overcoming so many obstacles, but it doesn’t diminish the incredible community we’ve built together.

While our physical space is closing, Space Space Revolution isn’t ending. Murphy and I remain committed to supporting artists. I’ll be focusing on developing online resources, including business courses and my upcoming book, Business Owner By Mistake. My 1-on-1 creative business coaching will continue until January 15th before I take a break, resuming in September 2025.

Tribute to The Attic Studio and Theatre
The Attic Studio and Theatre was a artist-run rental space and creative hub offering affordable artist-pricing, open to rent by the hour or by the day, from 2016-2024. This unique theatre rental space was used for rehearsal space, photography studio, casting studio, performance rental and film studio space and everything in-between. Pricing was kept as low as $25/hour for members. Rush bookings were also available to members for as low as $18.00/hour.
This unique Leslieville space from the 1800’s had been everything from a church to a hair salon. (If these walls could talk!) And now its legacy will include the wonderful art that was created there.

-1200 Square feet total
-900 Square feet of open space
-75 Person max capacity
-20 padded, stackable chairs
-4 Folding tables (4 feet x 2) (6 feet x 2)
-Sound system (With headphone jack/Aux hookup)
-Theatrical lighting
-Private washroom
-Kitchenette (Microwave, mini-fridge, sink, kettle, keurig coffee machine)
-Rooftop patio
-Our Resident Turtle, Jean Claude (He’ll be your biggest cheerleader!)
