FESTIVAL MISSION:
To provide a platform and a deadline to help Toronto performing artists develop their next live creation!

WE ARE SHOWCASING:
Works in progress, staged readings, polished performances, experimental projects, brand new works, projects about to head into the Fringe Festival circuit, or anything that could benefit from an audience and a deadline.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS RECEIVE:

• 1 Hour performance spot at The Attic Studio and Theatre (1402 Queen Street E, Toronto, ON) during the week of June 5th, 2023

• 2 Hours of rehearsal/tech-time at The Attic Studio and Theatre

• 1 Hour of 1-on-1 Producer consulting and mentorship with our Executive Producer, Vikki Velenosi

• Monthly zoom meetings with other artists involved in the festival (end of March/beginning of April 2023)

• Box office and Front of House support

• You keep 100% of any box office revenue (Space Space Revolution may charge HST and a small service fee on top of ticket prices to cover expenses).

COST TO SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT/CREATION FOR CONSIDERATION:
Free!

FESTIVAL FEE:
(Payable to Space Space Revolution by e-transfer or credit card within 1 week of acceptance into the festival.)
$200.00, plus HST, per performance
$150.00, plus HST for Artist Boss Members

OPTIONAL:
Special priced packages will be offered to successful applicants
20 rush booking hours: $250.00, plus HST (Regularly $360.00) <- That’s $12.50/hour!
Additional Producer Consulting and Mentorship: $45.00/hour (Regularly $90.00/hour)

NUMBER OF SPOTS AVAILABLE IN THE FESTIVAL:
10 minimum

SEATING CAPACITY:
Max 50
TICKET PRICES:
$10-$25 per ticket (to be determined by the individual production).

FESTIVAL DATES:
The week of June 5th, 2023

SELECTION WILL BE BASED ON:
Solid concepts, strong plans and projects that would benefit most from one night of performance.

DEADLINE:
Submit your project or creation by March 13th, 2023 at 11:59 PM

*Participating productions in the The One Night Only Festival will be eligible to engage artists under the Festival Policy with CAEA. Regretfully, The Attic Studio and Theatre is not wheelchair accessible. More details about the space HERE.
